AUDIO TRANSFER & DUPLICATION
Audio CD’s
have the advantage of boasting a much longer lifetime, easier access to
different sections ("tracks") of the audio , as well as compact size.
Once you have converted the analog audio tape to CD, you could make many
copies of the CD without losing any sound quality because the sound on a
CD is digitally recorded.
We use only
professional studio quality equipment to capture your analog audio and
convert it into a digital format and then output it to an audio CD.
With our
advanced digital processing options
(pop/hiss/scratch/noise/normalization filters) you'll find that in most
cases our final CDs will provide overall better sound quality than your
original source!
The prices
on the table below are per CD
Here is an approximate guide

Leaning Banana Productions wants you to be totally satisfied with the
quality of our work. However, there are certain vinyl record and tape
defects that are nearly impossible to eliminate as described here:
Damaged or Defective Records/Tapes: Records/tapes that are
severely scratched, cracked, water-damaged, warped, stretched, spliced,
etc.
Don't submit these-type
recordings to us. We will simply have to reject and return them to you
unprocessed.
Skips: If the record "skips" on your turntable, it will likely
skip on our turntable as well. If this is objectionable to you, do not
submit records that skip.
Severe Scratches: With our advanced restoration software, we
can eliminate thousands of clicks, pops and scratches per record.
However, if the scratch is severe, there will be a trace of a "click or
pop" in the restored version as well.
Distortion: Distortion can be caused from many possible sources.
Although we make every effort to eliminate distortion caused by
recording levels that are too high, if the source recording is
distorted in spots the restored copy will also be distorted.
Off-center Hole:
Some records' center holes may be slightly off-center. Even though
these records will play, please be aware that they will produce a slight
varying pitch (a wavering effect) during each revolution.
Trade-offs: Very
high levels of computer restoration are often necessary on poor source
recordings and may result in a slightly "muffled" sound. Nevertheless,
it is better to have a slightly muffled recording than one with a lot
of crackles, pops and noise.
The average listener is usually unaware of this characteristic, but it
is worth noting.
PLEASE NOTE!
Leaning Banana Productions is not responsible for any damage incurred to
your records/tapes to/from shipment or during playback |

TRANSFER & DUPLICATION |

Preserve
your memories from
35mm, 126mm & 110mm Slides
& Home Movies
by transferring them to VHS or DVD
(8mm & Super 8mm Film;
Hi8, VHS, SVHS & Mini DV Videotape)
Ever wonder what to do with
those old 35mm slides, 8mm home movies or Super 8 home movies you
(or your parents or grandparents) had stored away in the closet?
Let Leaning Banana
Productions turn those old slides & home movies into lasting memories.
Treat your kids and
grandkids to glimpses of family history.
Introduce your kids to
relatives they never had the opportunity to meet.
Re-live family vacations
long forgotten...right on your own TV.
When Leaning Banana
Productions puts your slides or home movies on video, you preserve your
family history
for future generations...you make the past...present in the future!
SOME OF THE
BENEFITS OF DVD INCLUDE:
1) Better quality video with higher resolution.
2) Long term preservation of the video. (A DVD's life expectancy is
greater than ours; at 100+ years!)
3) Faster “seek time” using chapters rather than having to rewind or
fast-forward a videotape to the point you want to view.
4) There are no moving parts to break on a DVD like on a videotape.
We use only
professional quality transfer & digital recording equipment to insure
the highest quality reproduction of your original slides, movies or
tapes & then digitally transfer them to VHS or DVD format.

A FEW WORDS
ABOUT DVD-R COMPATIBILITY
DVD-R is a 4.7GB disc with a single side/single layer. The video and
audio data is written to the disc in a manner similar to that of an
audio CD. It is compatible with 80% of first-generation players and
nearly 100% of all players currently being manufactured. It can contain
up to 120 minutes of high quality video using the state of the
art hardware and software configuration found at the studios of Leaning
Banana Productions.
The disc(s) you receive
from Leaning Banana Productions are produced using specifications
developed by the DVD Consortium - the group that conceived the DVD
format. These specifications are the commonly used standards for all
disc and player manufacturers. However, the manufacturers of some first
generation players - those introduced to the market in 1997 and 1998 -
failed to meet all the specifications in their rush to get players onto
America's shelves. As a result, approximately 20% of the first
generation players present varying degrees of disc/player
incompatibility - particularly when playing DVD-R discs (the type used
in producing limited quantity duplicates & the type used by Leaning
Banana Productions). Most players manufactured in 1999 and nearly every
player being manufactured today will be compatible with all disks.
Leaning
Banana Productions is not responsible for the
quality of submitted film or tape.
The quality of transferred images depends on the quality of the
submitted films or tapes.
Leaning
Banana Productions reserves the right to
refuse any order which would be deemed inappropriate.
Duplication of
copyrighted material (movies, TV shows, etc.) is prohibited unless
written permission is provided.
